I'm Neyaz Saberi, President of People Properties Limited, a Real Estate Development company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I grew up in a household that built things, solved problems and created value. That upbringing shaped me deeply - it motivated me to become someone who’s always looking to grow, solve problems, and make things better. Whether in a conversation, a meeting, or a project, I’m constantly thinking about how to scale, how to improve, and how to keep the torch moving forward.

That same hands-on mindset is how People Properties began - starting with intensive renovations and value-add projects that let us truly transform properties and create lasting value. Today, we’re growing naturally into larger construction developments, while deliberately staying rooted in Halifax proper - close to the services we need and even closer to the communities we’re proud to be part of.

I’m also deeply shaped by my Persian heritage. The remarkable history of my ancestors and culture - who built one of the greatest empires known to man - this taught me to see things with an eye for beauty, scale, and thoughtful design. They were masters of architecture, organization, and creating systems that served people well. That legacy inspires how I approach real estate and business: to build with vision, manage with fairness, and always aim to create something enduring and meaningful.

People Properties Limited is a Halifax-based real estate development company founded and led by me, Neyaz Saberi, right here in Nova Scotia. As a hands-on builder and developer, I’ve built the company with a strong focus on thoughtful, long-term growth in the Halifax region.

We began with intensive renovations and value-add projects, transforming older residential and commercial properties across Halifax into modern, high-performing assets. This foundation taught us how to create real value through smart design, quality construction, and deep attention to detail.

Today, People Properties Limited is expanding naturally into larger-scale development and mixed-use construction while staying firmly rooted in Halifax. We seek out strategic opportunities - infill sites, under-utilized land, and overlooked properties - turning them into well-designed, future-focused spaces that strengthen the communities we’re proud to build in.
